2026 Watchlist: Is the Frog About to Funk Up the Top 10?

I hope your new year is off to a flying start. While we’re all busy setting resolutions and recovering from the countdown, the YouTube servers haven’t taken a single second off. 

We’re starting the year with a massive "clash of the titans" at the edge of the Top 10. If you’re a fan of smooth funk, you might want to give Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars some extra love this week. Their legendary "Uptown Funk" is currently holding the #10 spot with about 5.725 billion views, but there is a certain blue animated frog breathing down their necks.

Crazy Frog’s "Axel F" is sitting just behind at 5.639 billion. That might sound like a big gap (86 million views!), but the Frog is moving at nearly double the daily speed of Bruno Mars right now. 2026 could be the year the meme finally overtakes the music.
